About me and disclaimer

I am a consultant focusing on Business Rules technologies.

I have been a consultant and have played many roles on projects, from developer, to team lead, to business and systems analyst to project manager. I have touched a lot of different technologies.

I have a Computer Engineering degree as well as a Masters in Business Administration (MBA). That as well as my experience give me the skills to talk to technical people as well as less technical or business people.

I don’t claim to know it all. I will make every effort possible to make sure that the information presented is correct, so if something seems incorrect to you, please feel free to let me know.

Since 2007, I have started my own private consulting practice, hopefully focusing on business rules and business processes.  I currently do not have any affiliations with any vendor at this time, although in the past I was an ILOG JRules instructor and I also participated in some ILOG consulting projects. It’s been a while since that last happened. Updated 2009-09-14: As of today, I started giving courses and possibly consulting for the IBM Websphere ILOG JRules product. As of 2011-01-31 I have joined IBM as a full time employee and working with the IBM Software Services for WebSphere to help with Rules and BPM projects.

The postings on this site are my own and don’t necessarily represent IBM’s positions, strategies or opinions.

My goal is to discuss the topics presented in here with others so that we might all benefit from the discussions.
